Ps3 Downgrade NORway

Hey,

I am trying to use a Teensy2.0++ to flash my Phat ps3. I connected my board to the motherboard however, I have an issue turning the Ps3 on. It turns on and has a green light for like 10s or less, then it starts the fan starts to rev up and disrupt the flash. So, is the problem that my CPU/GPU aren't pasting? The 15 pin fan is bad? Or that I need to reball the motherboard?

P.S. I previously had a RSOD in the past.

If you are having issues flashing when the fan turns on then why don't you just unplug the fan until after you flash it?

Well, since I don't know if the CPU/GPU is actually overheating, flashing the NOR takes 2-3min supposedly which would essentially burn the components.

the fan should not go higher so fast , and i would never unplug it.

too bad the fan is pwm controlled so wiring it to a standalone 12v won't work.

NEVER RUN THE PS3 WITH THE FAN DISCONECTED!

you can allways flash the ps3 without powering up the ps3.

follow my guide and see if you get better results
