You say buy $500 modded XBOX 360 (THAT IS THE USED-ON-CRAIGSLIST PRICES, I JUST CHECKED FOR THE HELL OF IT), that is NOT "nothing" NOR affordable, especially because I already forked out the money for PS3 (A SECOND TIME BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME EVERYTHING WAS STOLEN WHEN MY HOUSE WAS ROBBED). For $500 I could buy all the PS3 games I could ever desire.

OK this is going a bit off topic right here Ok so you want to jailbreak your system. Please refer to @playerkp420 since he knows about this and can help you immeasurably, secondly he can offer a downgrade service if you are in the US check him out. Also PS2 emulation is a bit buggy at the moment since it is Software emulation, I suggest you using your PC in order to get the PS2 emulation up and going. Also please read the front page about recent break through regarding eboots with higher firmware and dongle less eboots so you don't get conned into buying one yourself. Also be sure to learn about the limitations that this CFW has as well as those eboots.

Yo a modded 360 could be found on se7ensins for just $100-$130(phat) and $150-$200(slim) there is so much more you can do with a modded 360 as well. Right now your better off selling your ps3 for $250 or trading for a modded 360.

If you think a games console is game, you must be about 12 years old.

360 is a better console in almost every aspect than the PS3, its only down fall, is it didn't use HD-DVD as a medium to store games, here are some points.

1.) 360 can play more recent backups, without worrying if an eBoot is available.
2.) 360 has better emulators.
3.) 360 has better customization.

I could list many more, but the point I'm trying to make is that the 360 pawns the PS3 in all aspects regarding Homebrew/Backups.

360 is a beast, back on topic this isn't going to happen for you as you neither wish to part with any money or any of your time, no lazy b @STAR d fix is available so your best off keeping your heterosexual ps3 as it is.
