Some Questions

1. Will I be able to go on PSN AT ALL if I jailbreak it.
2. Can I just use a USB to downgrade or do I need e2 chip
3. Can I revert my PS3 back after I'm done jailbreaking it?

1. Not Really
2. Its called E3 Flasher and its a hardware clip. if U on any Firmware above 3.55 u Will need de E3 Flasher and also a Dongle to put ur ps3 in service mode.
3. Back to what? u can upgrade to OFW to acces psn but u will not be able to acces any of ur jailbroken things. U can dual boot or half dual boot to switch between OFW and CFW. Advantage above Half dual boot is it take some more work than just flip a switch but instead of the fast dual boot u dont need to solder anything on ur MOBO.

1. Not unless someone manages to get another workaround going.

2. You must use a E3 flasher, Progskeet, etc. to downgrade depending on your model.

3. Yes

What is the Model number on your system? Just the part that says "CECH-??"

If it is CECH-G or earlier then you must use Progskeet to downgrade and if it is CECH-H up to certain CECH-25XX you can use the E3 flasher.

Consider yourself very lucky then.....you can use the E3 flasher which is by far the easiest method.

You will need to buy the E3 flasher itself > http://www.e3-tech.net/dis.html

A ps3key to put your console into service mode > can most likely be bought at same place you find the E3 flasher at.

Thermal Paste to replace paste from factory which sucks. (Not required but highly recommended) I use Arctic Silver 5.
