Hi guys, I've been lurking for a while now and haven't made the jump to purchase a PS3 and jailbreak it etc.

My friend is offering the following: PS3 slim with 500gb, 30+ PS3 games manually installed on Hard drive, Snes Emulator with full rom List. Sega Genesis with full rom List. Comgenie File Manager (to manually ad files or delete them) All patches for the firmware have been completed

I understand I can do most of it myself, the games/emulators/roms/file manager but was wondering whether the PS3 slim with 500gb was worth £220?

Wow that is expensive..
The games are worth nothing, Mostly pirated copy's anyway.
The HDD however is worth quite a bit. But not that much.
I would pay... maybe $175-$200 USD. (£110-£126)

I would say for a NEW slim PS3 and 500GB drive its decent, but if its second hand then not really.

I bought my 120GB with BF3 for £179 and then a 320GB with move set for £220 }~ both brand new.

Just make sure it can be jailbroken.

As @tjhooker73 said games and apps have NO value in this case.

Thanks for the response, it's already jailbroken, he's put a LOT of stuff on there, he says the reason it's a bit more expensive is because the amount of time he's put into it.

I struggle to find a fat PS3 that is downgrade-able for less than £150, maybe the UK is a tad more expensive (scrap that, it always is).

Jailbreaking takes minutes.

Pirating is what hes making money on.
