before i backup my tekken 6 disc, do i need to update my file manager? I'm still at multiman v02.09.02.. thanks for helping me..

Yep, set theme to default on your old instal and install new one from XMB. Easy as peas.

edit: already done downloading the multiman v4.05 baseplus and full, should i install the BASEPLUS first followed by the FULL?? or install the FULL only??

use minvercheck (see my sig) to check if your PS3 will downgrade to 3.55. If it will then you will need hardware to downgrade before you can think about jailbreaking. If it doesnt go to 3.55 or below. Then you are sh!t out of luck.

Or you can use the app I made here: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=41685&highlight=[pc] to check the date code on your PS3 (but minvercheck is more accurate)

I just tried and had the very same error code when trying to update through recovery. In xmb it says "No applicable update data was found."

I'm on ofw 4.21
