Not much to do with PS3 itself, a Blu-ray contains much more data than a DVD on the same space (over 5 times more data), which makes them much more sensitive to scratches. However, to counter this issue (I assume), Blu-rays are made of much sturdier material and its really hard to scratch them accidentaly.

I don't think you can use a BD movie to run game backups, can you?

a BluRay movie doesn't have the boot sector that the PS3 looks @ to play a game, the PS3 can also tell you what type of disc you have in the drive (nobody but possible Cobra has been able to manipulate that)

That, probably was me, I was convinced I used my Incredible Hulk BD to boot games, but I must have been wrong

I just tested with an Ironman BD and it doesn't show up under the game category, so I was mistaken.

If you have BD burner thenyou could burn it on BD and load via multiman. If not buying a game and 500GB - 1TB HDD is cheaper for a longer period.

@pereb27 : I said is more easier to find a Blu-Ray Movie and I need the movie only to test if the BD Rom is working .....
@DEFAULTDNB : I said I have found in a shop a PS3 Game on DVD .... And I know that PS3 has 2 lens (one for DVD/CD and one for BLU-RAY) ... Can I play games with the game original disk DVD via multiman ?

Nope, must be a PS3 BD GAME disc, I tested it out and I was incorrect about BD movie disc, so a DVD wont work.

So the only idea that remains is find a Game or Movie Blu-Ray to test the drive .... Because my disk has some little scratches and it looks like its MELTED
