To half dual boot:

Install flasher and make backups on 4.21.
Shut down ps3 and remove the HDD from esata station.
Label hdd OFW.
Put different hdd in esata station.
Let ps3 format and install 4.21.
Follow my guide to downgrade.
Make backups on 3.55.
Label that hdd CFW.
To go back to OFW, Use flash fun mode (switch 1 up the rest down) to flash 4.21 backup.
Turn off ps3 and insert OFW hdd.
Turn on ps3 and you will be on OFW 4.21.
To go back to 3.55, Use flash fun mode to flash 3.55 backup.
Turn off ps3 and insert CFW hdd.
Turn on ps3 and you will be on 3.55.

Make sure to insert the correct hdd for what backup you flashed.

You lost me. You have a good dump right? That is how you unbricked?
Now make another dump after you have dehashed.

If you cannot make a good dump now, then your clip has come loose.

Don't try and flash a dump with errors to your nor. You will brick.

I thought that my technician had de-bricked my console , but unfortunately not ,since he just told me later that he succeeded in dumping a Bios backup from console.

but he didn't verify its quality , instead he patched it using E3patcher ,then flashed it back to console , but unfortunately the console didn't de-brick !!

now ,are we still in postition to try to have a good bios dump backup ? using progskeet for example , or we lost that chance by writing on flash ?

I'm facing a problem to keep a ps3 stay on. I downgrade with e3_downgrade and accidentally cut the power. I soldered tristate to gnd and when I turn on ps3 it it won't stay on. The green led light up then light off and blue led blinking before it turn off without any beep

Does your technician know what he is doing? Why would he just patch the dump and flash it without validating it? It sounds like he is a rookie and is rushing things.

There is still a chance, as long as he hasn't flashed a bios from a different console.

You have to try and get a good dump. Then validate it with this guide. I wish I could put the clip on for your technician, so you can fix your console.

I never had much success with soldering the wire from tristate to ground. I always use the sbe point on the ribbon.
I know others say it works, but I tried it once and it didn't work. So I always solder the wire from tristate to sbe on e3 ribbon. And it will stay on with switch 1 up.
I like to stick with what works for me.

Note - Take a look at the first page. I have been using Rogero's nor patcher to do the downgrades now. It seems a lot easier. And haven't bricked one yet with it. It seemed that once every 20 times or so, I was having to unbrick and try again, when using the e3_downgrade.bin.

Yeah I soldered SBE point on flasher pad to tristate,still the same. I'm not sure how it become to this. Its like ps3 fail to boot. No ylod,no rlod. Just blinking blue led before turn off.

If the console won't stay on with that wire soldered correctly, then it is not a problem with the flash.

You do have switch 1 up, right?
