Alright. I've utterly lost the plot with the scene at the moment...
I know a dex machine will allow me to play a proper retail game... and I still have the ability to downgrade, but the thing that would cinch it for me would be psn shop access so I can buy some content to play. I can't find a definitive answer for this. (I'm expecting a resounding no) The other thing... I have no clue what firmware is currently best on the 3.55 front. I'm still on the rebug from the psn access thing a few months back. But I'm noting that the only dongle yet to be hacked is the one I still have (Cobra) and I'd like to get back to playing PS2 isos at some point on my 60gb, but also take advantage of the 3.60 key games and recent eboot releases. Could one of you gents point me in the right direction? and clue me up? I've read and searched alot, and visit this page daily... but sofar... my knowledge has remained limited. It would be amazing if one side (Debug) offered homebrew, PSN and retail game ability, and the other (3.55) allowed for a bit of the ol' seafarin badboy action. Imagine easily dual-booting between both firmwares? It would solve all our problems huh? I kinda like purchasing real games. but there are a few I'd like to play but just can't pay for. For example, resi 6 is a game I'd buy no problem, but on the flipside, LA Noire is one I'm glad I didn't put money down for... see? I'm a pirate with a moral stance. if the one who was making dex firm 4.21, knew about the keys for 4.21, so what was the keys 4.21 ?

Is this a sign 4.11 FW (retail) could at some point in near future become hackable?

Does someone have the MD5 for the 4.2.1 DEX FW? The Link on the main page goes to an empty directory, but when you go out to the main and comes back in the fw is dated for june 2012?

I don't think the keys were needed to do this, because if they were, they would've just made a 4.21 cfw instead. There isn't gonna be a 4.21 cfw in the nearby future.
