Maybe some of them I guess. I have like 7 of them and they all have the 19 blade fan. Most of them were never opened until me, so I am pretty sure they came stock. I never really researched it.

Yeah I'm not really sure I just always thought that cause fats came with 15,17&19 bladed fans and I thought they came with 15's

You would think that since they overheated and ylod like a beast. But I guess the 19 blade fan was no match for such power hungry CPU and gpu and such a heat generating psu. That and of course Sonys crap thermal paste and unleaded solder.

yes. i actually buy ps3s with bad lasers, fix and sell them. i'd say definitly keep the ps3. you can replace the laser for $30 american and it is fairly easy if you know how to work a screw driver

So true. The CECHG01 psu's are so much better for the fat ps3's and the crusted cum paste on the cpu definetly didn't help against preventing YLOD

You can get a brand new laser much cheaper on ebay brand new for around $17USD

really? i normaly get the assembly so that i get a good spin motor as well

Yeah decks a little more expensive because your getting the laser and motor but usaly the motors on ps3's don't go bad

i remeber one of the first ps3s that i bought had a good laser but the spin motor didnt spin so as a precaution i just get the deck
