My kids both know if it says you must update to NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE UPDATE ON ANY OF THEIR SYSTEMS and neither of them would just install anything to any of their systems without first asking me.

I dont think you can go online with 4.21 DEX on a CEX-native console. You need a 100% DEX console to get online.
