To me God is a major belief that comforts a human in time of need. I'm a christian and I believe there is a God and there was a Jesus, but there will always be facts of proof that the big guy really exists and or doesn't... It's ALL up to us... My bestfriend died about a year or 2 ago and it really makes me feel better knowing he's with his dad up in Heaven hanging out with God. And God is watching over his family.

To believe in God, we need faith in something without basis, is like trying to solve a puzzle without having all the pieces and using an incomplete guide.

It's a blessing for some people and a curse to others, a choice betwwen a confortable ignorance (faith) or an existence without purpose (atheism). One way or another, the world would be better without this concept that in my opinion serves only to alienate people and results in flame wars with global proportions.

So, no God for me. IMHO, the man creates God in his own image and convenience and should stop doing that, for the sake of humanity. I apologize to those who have faith, but it is what I think of God.
