error message.

im trying to run mw3 (duplex) with fix.pkg and getting this message:-

"error occurred while moving game to new location"

there is nothing in the /ps3_game folder on the root of my HDD which normally causes this problem, any ideas ?

also get the same error when trying to launch call of juarez.

where is it trying to move files to and could i just move the files myself via ftp ?

As I recall I had a similar issue and as soon as it occured none of the rest of my games that were set to bdmirror would work as well and each gave me a similar error

"error occurred while moving game to new location"

When I examined my external hdd I found that the PS3_game folder had somehow moved itself to the root of my hdd. I cut and pasted it back to the MW3 folder and that fixed everything.

Yes I did but after searching the boards and not finding much info I thought I would start a new thread in case anyone has the same problem.

Sorted, deleted the ps3_game folder from the root and mw3 works now, also ran the bdrest.pkg.

Thanks for the help guys both games working
