Something happened to me. Maybe someone can explain.

I have decided to go back from TB CFW2 to kmeaw.
Recovery Menu - USB Stick with OFW 3.55, but in my BD-drive was Start the Party Bles00969 insert.
After suchessful flash I was on OFW 3.40. My Slim had taken it from the disc.

I have seen this before, it wont happen with anything above 3.56 though.

The console can take updates from the usb or the disc

Really strange... I know that on disc there are updates sometimes... i founded one in my gta iv backup... But the strange thing is that you have downgraded... This is really strange! I don't know if the TB CFW2 has some patch or "anti-check" (i don't know the correct name for example rogero fw for downgrade with flasher) that i don't know... It smeems really strange that you can downgrade without service mode or qa flagging... Wow
for understand what happen... You go on recovery menu then you go for install updates select it insert the usb key with 3.55 ofw then you press select + start and ps3 start install thw ofw on your game?

the TB CFW uses files from a debug unit these include the f/w checks (part of the reason higher games can be played) this is why you can downgrade without service tool or QA flagging

QA flagged one year ago, but not active for ages ... but once flagged it is always flagged,right?
