Hello Everyone,

I've Decided to update my ps3 so i can play online and i have CFW Kmeaw 3.55,What should i do ? I mean are there any risks to update to OFW 4.21?
I don't want to get banned or somethin.

You should sell it and buy a new ps3 or used one

A lot of people want a PS3 on 3.55.. Just exchange it for a new one or a lightly used one from someone who owns a 3K or 4K series.. where are you located?? hell, I could use one more...

What do you mean?
is that means i can't upgrade?
I know CFW 3.55 is best hackable firmware but i don't want playing hacked games any more,i just want to play online.

What the people are saying is that u best sell ur PS3 with CFW 3.55 or OFW 3.55. That way u wil catch a lot of money for it cuzz people arewilling to giv u a lot of money for a ps3 on 3.55, And yes u can update to 4.21 just fine if u choos not to sell it and misscatch money. Make sure u go like CFW "ur on right now" > 3.55 Official > 4.21 Official just to make sure

I mean you can just go to OFW 3.55 then OFW 4.21

but sell that thing man, maybe someone could use it better than you did!

not to mention that you'll get way more than its worth if you sell it right

@youseeff And within 3 months you will be asking how to soft-downgrade or how to install DEX to your OFW 4.21 PS3?

You know how much people regret updating to unhackable OFW with all latest developments we have now? Serious, PSN/SEN is never worth upgrading (un-safe, expensive DLC's and so on) and as we have DEX 4.21 now there is no point in upgrading for the latest games. Convert to DEX and enjoy something a lot of people want to have

Or choos to buy a E3 flasher and go read some stuff on this site. U can half boot or a bit more advanced quick dual boot. It does what it sais it dual boot OFW 4.21 and CFw 3.55 where u on right now. That way u have best of both worlds and will not regret it. The other side to make it much easier is to leave this console on 3.55 and buy a used ps3 to go online and sush on 4.21 problem solved
