Hi guys.
I`ve just upgraded my ps3 to 4.21 and then i noticed that its fake and that to downgrade it to 3.55 i need to open my ps3 and do some works. and im not going to do it, its too risky.

So my first question is: why do people create firmwares that cant be hackable?
Second point: To avoid installing future patches from Sony, what can i do? if i dont patch my ps3, i wont be able to play online( i think, but im not sure), and if i patch it, Sony might discover that my ps3 is jailbroken.
so what can i do to avoid that? do i have to install any other programs on my ps3?
Can i play online even if i dont install patches from Sony?
Another question: will 4.21 CFW ever be dowgradable without having to open your ps3? i mean, just installing a program that downgrades it to 3.55?

If you could answer all these questions i would be very happy. So ty very much

No, you must be on OFW 4.21 to play online, and games must have latest patch too. Another question: will 4.21 CFW ever be dowgradable without having to open your ps3? i mean, just installing a program that downgrades it to 3.55? There is no such thing as "4.21 CFW"... Softdowngrade and even HARDWARE downgrading to 3.55 will not work on PS3's that didnt come with 3.55 or lower, so this is VERY unlikely. If you could answer all these questions i would be very happy. im noob at these things, so would u also have a link do download it? and a tutorial to install it on my ps3 XD XD

if they are from Sony, is it legal to have them on our ps3? so theres no danger?

There is NO CFW for 3.55 - 4.21; all these firmwares are made by Sony. There is no danger as they are Official firmwares.

Yes, all people on 3.55 cannot play online. And people upgrade so they can play online? And before DEX conversions play the newest games.

Spoof is only for CFW once you have downgraded. Sorry I thought you mean it in "future" you got it downgraded and wanted to avoid it updating in future.

Any "CFW" that claims to be higher than 3.55 is bullsh!t

OFW is made by SONY and wont allow backups or homebrew.

If you want OFW and PSN by all means update officially from the update option on your PS3 or manually from the SONY PS3 website. (download the update and install it from usb)

Have you given up on downgrading altogether? there are plenty of tutorials on this site that can help you out

u install the spoofer when your on 3.55 cfw not on 4.21 ofw .

people on 3.55 are not online , the hacker that are on cod are not on 3.55 they are on 4.21 ofw .
the only fw that u can go online is 4.21 ofw . they transfer data from there 3.55 cfw ps3 to therre 4.21 ofw to mod cod

there is no cfw above 3.56

its not legal to have cfw on a ps3

all firmware above 3.55 are made by sony aprt from DH CFW 3.56 , the rest are normal ofw not cfw . people just trick people cos they think it be funny and dont like people on cfw

yes, ive given up. i dont want to break my ps3 by opening it and touching cables that i dont know. and i even have to buy a hardware so.....

so can i hack cod on 4.21 v? tell me how!
