Someone's already answered this, but I'll pile on. The instructions are in the NFO. UPDATES go in the GAME directory where the pkg installs the content. Disk Patches go in the gameS folder where the Disc content goes. (where mm looks for the disk.)

Are you high? Many of these games prove that there is absolutely no reason to move beyond 3.55. All the games work on 3.55 fine-- which means there are no features in the newer firmwares that we need. When there are compelling features, I'm sure the collective scene brains will come out with something.

These are UPDATES, which is really cool because the disc version of skyrim had a bug when it was released that after a bunch of saves were created the game would periodically freeze and for SF, apparently, there is a huge competitive scene that requires the latest patch to be on the system for tournament play.

The skyrim eboot patch is not working for me.

1. Deleted /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30778
2. Downloaded and install https://a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/...S30778-ver.xml pkg file via XMB.
3. Replace the param.sfo and eboot.bin under /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30778.
4. Loaded with multiman +/- BD Mirror.
5. Error, unable to load the game.

I am pretty sure this were the instructions. This fix is not working for me.

There is where you went wrong. I'm not certain why you did that, the NFO says replace the eboots. Who knows what state that folder is in now. Never just delete stuff... I'm assuming you made a backup before you deleted an entire folder. If so, restore that backup.

The update worked fine for me. Even downloaded the update from the internet with my PS3 with a spoof in place when the game asked me to update.
