The same thing happened to me. I'm thinking maybe its because this is the USA version and I have the BLES veersion? I'm not 100% sure but I would love a fix. I love this game.

If you install the pkg to update the game ver to 1.06, that particular folder would be recreated. Thereafter I proceed to replace the param.sfo and the eboot.bin file at folder.

I don't understand, as deleting that update folder should not have matter.

^^^^ not recreated...... but over written with the necessary files needed to update, you have deleted all the files that are required for the game to run

Where does it say anything about this being an update folder ?
and where in the Install instructions does it tell you to delete anything?

I'm having an issue. After I follow the instuction I get the disc with the question mark on it saying unsupported data. I followed the tutorial word for word. Could it be because I have the BLES version and this fix is for the BLUS version? If so can you point me in the direction of the proper fix (if there is one) please

the eboot on skyrim update isn't on game/blus03778 but in game/blus03778/userid , and the param.sfo on game/blus03778 , i install the 1.06 update, then replace param.sfo and eboot on userid folder, blusO3778 folder and both of them, but does still not work , IT NOT WORK
