Some people hate him because he "sold out" his work to cobra. I don't have enough knowledge of the situation to form an opinion. I only know what i read. All scene politics aside, I personally love his backup manager and find it very usefull. I think it is a great program. I don't know much about him or his wallet.

well he made a pretty amazing program from what I see and he brought it a very long way too

he might have not had time for it anymore, thats no reason to just not have it get updated anymore, it may have been time for him to go

I would argue that showtime is a better program on PS3 but that's just me, besides MM there are other backup managers, but for right now to my knowledge Showtime is one of a kind.

And people who I favorite are on my shoutout thread .

This place has as many links to copyrighted material as crunch. Or are all 200k of the people here just after the EBOOTs so they can use their legitimately owned disks?

And Dean sold out... the app is still being released for the general public. Apart from about a 6 month break it always has been.
If you're dumb enough to use slower, inferior and outdated apps that doesn't make you cool it makes you a tool. I'm pretty sure Dean won't lose any sleep over a few upstarts boycotting his app.

So really for a homebrew site what devs call this place home? Two of the most prominent and reliable devs won't spit in the general direction. I spose you've got guys who can wrap gui's around other peoples work... ummm yay?

Yay! Dean is keeping Cobras features locked up tight and far away. Just like most of the devs in this scene.

I would say one of the is reliable and that one is @Squarepusher2 , i dont always get along with square, but i like and respect him, the other one is not reliable, prominent yes, reliable no, when ever you say you will release on one site and then start selling your work to a reDRM manufacturer, you no longer become reliable.

deank left PS3HaX to "rework" on his multiMAN, i received some of those images, images of a pre release version of mM, the next time i seen those images is when mMCM was released.

Dont get me wrong, i respect the work deank has done in the scene, but as a person i have no respect for him, i was willing to ignore all the crap, ignore deank and not mention in any thread posted about him, but using a photo of me as his avatar, killed that.

He writes the manager not the dongle payload or CFW.
He's just displaying what the dongle opens up. Anytime he's found out how to implement a feature (be it a cobra feature or not) he's added it for everyone to use.
He made going to and from CEX/DEX easy, he made DEX 4.xx a hell of a lot more useful just to name a couple recent things.. but wait he won't release info he doesn't have access to so he's a sellout?
