Hey guys!

I'm PLaGu3 and i'm here to learn how to downgrade from 4.21 to a jailbreak version. Hope made it.

Welcome @PLaGu3 .

To downgrade you need to know if your PS3 CAN downgrade to 3.55. Use minverchk in my sig to find out if your PS3 will downgrade to 3.55 or less.

If it will you will need a hardware flasher such as E3, progskeet or teensy++ and a FSM dongle (downgrade dongle).

If it doesn't say 3.55 or less you are sh!t out of luck.

Welcome to the forum

Unfortunately, Sony blocked the downgrade, with a hardware flasher, option in the 4,21 firmware. The highest downgradeable firmware is 4.20. Your only option is to sell your ps3 and find one with lower firmware or better yet, one with 3.55 firmware.

Note: For the *helpers* that i really appreciate that, you are always the first ones to guide some new user here. Please bare in mind that if the OP is not replying to your posts, probably he don't even tried or tested or don't care about your help. Im not here to be the *sour* one but im just giving you a piece of advice (you can take it or leave it). Example: OP says HI and explain his problem in members introduction (WRONG) instead of say HI here, and go to HELP section. So long story short you are wasting your time with someone that probably will post a youtube video thinking that's the real deal.

I remember someone started a thread that I read, he bought or accidentally upgraded to 4.21 firmware. When he tried to downgrade, he said it was blocked, meaning its not possible.

P.S. I wasn't talking about dex lol.
