Well, im not real sure. I was hoping you could tell me what a good price was, but being you need one, i dont think it would be wise to get that info from you. No offense. I do have a couple of chechl01 that have the rsod. I tried to fix them but they keep going back to rsod. I put them on the norsod.pup to bypass the rsod, and have just been using them as blue ray players. I guess there is a permanent problem with the nor on them, so they will always get rsod when on any other firmware.

Do you know a way to fix them permanently? I tried the rsodfix.pkg and I also tried flashing them down to 3.41 then back to 3.55. No luck. @tjhooker73

I was able to get One to stay ok for a week or so on 3.41. Then I updated it to 4.21 and it went back to rsod like a day later

the best you could get for it would be from an extreamly desprite person who does not know much about how much a hacked ps3 is worth.. the most from anyone here is about $100 maybe $150 But most people have one on 3.55 or below.

But I still need one... And still have little money. The most I could do is maybe $50-$80
A RSOD ps3 that keeps going back Is not worth that much either, the most I would pay is $20-$40

RSOD is tricky, The flash the person used probably had some bad blocks on the nand/nor

Did you read my entire post? I edited it a couple times. About the chechl01 and stuff? $50-$80 is what I have in it. I could probably go that low, but I was hoping to make a little profit, since I go through about 3 or 4 before finding one worth fixing. The rest sit in my basement waiting on someone to need parts, which so far, 0 parts have left e dungoen

But like I said, I can't seem to get them fixed perminetly and I wouldn't want to sell you junk. What is your idea of cheap? $5 ? Lol for $5 I will just keep using them as a blue ray player.

$25-$50 I guess. Mostly because it would be a pain in the ass to Attempt to Fix and if it cannot be fixed A pain to work with, But I am still willing to screw around with a RSOD PS3, If you need a BD drive I still got that fat PS3 BD drive that works.
Btw I will pay for shipping if you decide.

What model did the drive come off of? The rsod ones have been a pain. I have $50 in each one of them. One I downgraded it to 3.41 and it seemed to be ok for a while. It didnt rsod until i reupdated it back to 4.21. The other one was already on 3.55 and all I did was run the .pkg from norsod.pup and it didn't fix it for long.I thought about trying the fsm lvl2 fix on both of them to see if it helps. I will let you know what happens with them. Like I said, I would hate to sell you something that is unfixable.

Its from a launch CECHA model (1.00 possible downgrade). I will see what I can do $ wise. I'll probably do $45 and the BD drive.

Hmm... Well I am in no shortage of checha01 parts. I have like 5 checha01 consoles currently. I don think they will work with this chechg01 because the logic board on the chechg01 is inside the drive itself, and the checha01 drive board is in the outside bottom of the drive unit. I would sell it to you but first I need to see if it is going to ever work. I would want at least my money back out of it. Like I said, I may try the fsm lvl2 rsod fix to see if it makes a difference. You think it will?
