I truely believe that Sony would have a hard time stopping hardware flashing. I am not some coding guru or anything, but hardware flashing is pretty straight forward. You write to the hardware what you want and voila.

I am in a similar boat... Sister came to visit and saw it needed updating and updated it while I was out, up to 4.21.

Now I need to spend $70 on a damn e3 flasher.... RAGE. And more than that, I need to spend all the time to get it done.

Luckily I am on a NOR model, so no soldering needed (as far as I can tell from my quick research).

I assume not, but I need to ask. Are these legit at all?
