i bought new ps3 slim instead of my bricked ps3 phat and i need some help to save my ps3 from YLOD brick again.

i'll using E3 Flasher to downgrade my new ps3 slim to 3.55 fw but i can downgrade it to 3.55 OFW instead of Rogero 3.55 from first time? then because i'll install TB CFW after that?

If needed!! i want to change the cfw to other cfw what i should to do?

I Found this: install OFW before going to other cfw.
How to install the OFW from?? Recovery mode or from E3?

OFW should be installed from recovery mode as far as I know.

not sure why you'd want tb cfw when its useless these days?

if you change cfw's after downgrading you'll need to dehash the console every time you change. Search the forums, its been discussed many times.

You only have to de-hash the console once after downgrade.....once it is de-hashed it will not need it again unless it is updated above 3.55 and downgraded again.

Install OFW after you are done then install the latest Rogero or what ever CFW you want.

You have to use Rogero after downgrading because it has the lv1 checks patched so that the hash change will not cause the syscon to panic causing a brick.

Be careful it's not a 3xxx or 4xxx series as these cannot be downgraded.

Wow thanks guys ... but i'm asking about how to dehash the console?
if there a thread about how to dehash the console plz guid me to the url.

@saxile don't worry man i bought the ps3 that can be downgraded and don't forget i have read that before to buy one. thnx anyway.

@ichris thanks, I didnt know that. I thought its every time you change firmware. So I could change between Rogero, Kmeaw, etc only dehashing once?

@Smart60 TB has been cracked so all games now work without it. I'd search the forums about it and also about dehashing.

You dehash the console by qa flagging it. install the qa flag .pkg and then you will run it. Then you can go to ofw and then to whatever cfw you want. Only use rogero when downgrading with the e3 or you will brick... Then qa flag then ofw then new cfw. Simple
