You cannot play PS1/PSP/PS2/PS3 ISO's on any CFW, the only way you can do that is via Cobra.

EDIT
Well you can play PS2 ISO's on CFW and OFW via Swap Magic/USB Loader
Yes your right mate would be better without dongle .

You can play PS1 games via disc and the PS3 backups on CFW are not ISO's.

About PS1, there are interesting document:

http://www.raphnet.net/electronique/...laystation.txt

On PS3, you can (on any FW) found little "secret" about PS1 by editing your save data :

http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Game_....3F_.28.PSV.29

@GregR oyRasputin, do you have your web site about old console? if there are one link please let s us know (and the wiki page about PocketStation is nearly finish for what i wanted to do, need to add fews things (pictures, ICONS value, and may be IR communication) but of course you can add whatever you find interesting from the wiki page if there are, on your web site)

I'm still waiting on it being hacked. Mine's lying in its coffin waiting for its features to be added to a firmware. They broke PS3usercheat and TB. I'm sure cobra hasn't got much longer to languish as dongles.

I'm hoping its done before november. That way mine can be blown up on a much larger firework than I had originally bought for it.

I don't think Cobra and TB are related. At least Cobra cares for their customers (they have customer support email, they listen to feedback and requests from customers, whereas you can't even email TB support because they don't have any).
Sure they also make money off a DRM dongle, but it's not nearly as bad as TB IMO. I've owned one before and really liked it, though it had cons such as being unable to use any homebrew that required peek and poke, run Linux, etc.
Just like everyone else, I'd rather see Cobra features on an actual CFW (which would fix the issue with peek&poke).

In the end it really depends if you like playing PSP games on the PS3, and whether your PS3 is BC or not. And there's always the option of temporarily switching firmware when you need peek&poke.

Sure you can rip an ISO, but what Greg meant is that on CFW, the backups you run are on folder format, not ISO.

Hum, i will try first to get my camera working back (my phone is not "recent" to make pictures good enough for that purpose) for having more content about PocketStation and also, obviously, i m not really good about writing good story/proper English.
(and from my point of view, PocketStation are still recent console, not retro, otherwise we already have emulator on our PS3)

I read the Sega Saturn article... thanks you

Edit: derail the topic but CFW Cobra is nothing really important
