Yes, but you have to be on 3.55 to install, you cannot install on 3.56 or higher

Ok, I was able to get in contact w/ someone who was able to downgrade my firmware for me, since the E3 flasher is kinda out of my range of comfortable modifcation.

I'm trying to figure out the limits of what I now have. And what I can do. I will be following the original posted guides to get the proper firmware on there. After that....Can I go online at all? Can I dual boot different firmware? Can I play the newest games on backup?(read something about DEX conversion but don't really understand it.) I have been looking around the forums quite a bit, but just really need some help figuring out the scope of what I am going to be able to play. Really looking to play God of War series, and my kids want to play LEGO Batman 2 via backup. Thanks for the help!

online- No only xlink kai and such
Duelboot- Yes but you need an e3 flasher and need to solder
Yes and no- You have to get a modded patch for the game, or go on dex (But I think you have to have the disk for the game)

I am guessing you just had someone downgrade for you, right? I would say that after the downgrade they uninstalled the E3 flasher and as long as they de-hashed then you can install any 3.55 firmware that you want.

You can only dual boot if you keep the flasher installed and do some soldering and modifying so I doubt that you will have that option. As of now there is no way to get on the PSN/SEN but you can use the console's browser online. And as long as you have a backup manager such as multiMAN then you can run backups as long as they are games signed with 3.55 or under keys unless you have a fix for them.

As of right now the only way to get that game backup working is with a converted CEX 2 DEX console.

When I follow the link for the spoofer...there are a ton of different links? Which one do I use? In the 2nd tutorial I linked at the first post, it says that spoofer doesn't work anymore? Help?
