look for your pc calculator switch it to programmer mode write the offset example 00309100 then add 10000 with your calculator copy and paste it back it should work on usercheat.

OK so....first of all if the title of my post didn't let you know in the first place, i am a total retard when it comes to computers and basically anything electronic. So lets just dispense with the "you're and idiot" comments and just help me if anyone can. I recently downloaded the ps3tools set, and i have absolutely no idea what i'm doing. I mainly downloaded it to be able to edit SFO files so i could use other ppls saves. However either i'm doing it wrong (most likely) or this thing just doesn't work. Secondly I see the cheats editor is also available. I also have no idea how to use this!! How do you apply the cheats to a save game?!! there is no readme file or no tutorial that i can find on how to do this. Every time i try something it just says corrupted data. I even thought It would be as simple as changing the account id in the sfo editor ....someone said that would work to be able to use others save games.....no dice. Could someone please help me .... im friggin rippin my hair out over here.

to use saves from other peoples just use "fake savedata owner" option on CFW rebug (earned trophies cant sync on PSN)

to use ps3usercheat just download it, put it on the root of your storage device and install it like any other .pkg

once again....you should talk to me like you are talking to a small child....or...a golden retriever. you say put ps3usercheat on the root of my storage device. Ok do you mean the WHOLE file? or just the cheats i want to use.....and if it's just the cheats i want to use...what do i download....just the number/letter codes or the whole thing? and what is a .pkg file... and how do i install it?? when i said "UBERNOOB" i wasn't joking. A good thing to keep in mind when you are explaining things to me....speak as if i've never used a computer before...that should make it a lot easier for me. And i can't use CFW rebug because i have a version over 3.55.

u r ****ed, you must be on 3.55 to use any homebrew (cheats, loader, emus, etc), so if your ps3 firmware is over 3.55 then there is nothing you can do
