I have a question on the nand downgrading. I've downgraded a few nand ps3's, but all have lost bluray movie playback. Is there any way you know of to NOT lose br movie playback while hardware downgrading? Or is it just the nature of the beast?

Im askin cuz I have shearch everywhere and did only find E3 Norflash clip avaible and not e3 flasher limited (out of stock, maybe it is Out of Production?)

plz help me with my project, it is hard to find someone to send it to Scandinavia.

I also dont see if you used the eSata station, (what is the eSata station for anyway?)

I just want my PS3 3.55 Kmaew back after my kids updated ps3 slim to 3.70 to play "Skylanders" Dont Care about dual boot and all that, just want to play backed up games.

and Also, after I use the flasher clip and ps3 is restored to Factory setting (when u bought it) is it safe to put the PS3 together as it was before or should the E3 Clip stay in permanent?

This isn't exactly "fool proof", you put the minimum version checker download right in with the model numbers without even explaining what it does for 1.

Also, I thought that there were solderless methods from ProgSkeet now, am I wrong?

Not sure about anybody else but when I try to view the first page/post Firefox starts hanging and RAM usage goes through the roof.

Anybody else having a similar problem? It's JUST that page, everywhere else is fine. Will try a different browser to see if I can replicate the problem.

You can downgrade only with the clip, you do not need the limited edition.

One question if the console is 25xx then the seller don't try for me how shall i know it can be downgrade?

your going to have to use the remarry method.
i had not noticed it before but then i usually re-marry just to insure the QA dehash will work (it saves time doing it first before the QA de-hash)

you dont damage the ps3 its a de-hash fail (soft brick)
you just earth the tristate > boot ps3 > it will halt > re-flash > turn off ps3 & remove the wire earthing the tristate > now finish the downgrade again in service mode > de-hash with QA-flag
you now have a working 3.55cfw ps3

also yes there is a NOR clip (360 clip) but i havent managed to find a fool proof way to remove the 48th pin (as it earths when it shouldnt see wiki) i could be wrong on the pin number aswell. i have alot running around in my head at the moment.

sorry stuck? & @3absiso its all the fault of the image sizes and the shear number of them.
i click on the guide then make a cupper. when i get back its loadad.
it makes it a pain editing the guides aswell looool

there is also a date code but as i am unsure if it is 100% acurate i did not add it .
i have done a 2503A (date code [OD] is in a small white/gray box) if that helps you
