anno haah !! hes got to put it back togither he took it apart to take the batt out but on page one it comes up that error SYSTEM DISABLED

Is it a laptop? If it is, the eeprom you need to locate might be a 24xx08. I have successfully shorted some while powering on and reset cmos settings. If however the eeprom is a 24RF06/08 then shorting it can be fatal(to the chip) and a permanent error will occur.
