@Elegant And you sir completely failed to see that i wasn't angry at him because of his past actions in the beginning, i got angry because he logged in after being missing from the scene for a long time, wrote a couple of post with useful but incomplete(useless unless complete) information and then said that he was going to disappear again.
And all this without anyone having said anything bad to him.

@oPolo I never called him a douchè(i know full well that he did share some good info once upon a time) and my logic is really simple: if you are a well know dev but you have no intention to help anyone then do not post anything at all, or if you do at least don't use your usual handle name.
He knew full well that reappearing after such a long time would cause some sort of drama but he did so anyway and what's more he did so just to say he was going to disappear again.
Now tell me,what's the logic in that behavior apart from creating drama?

Whether you're angry or not is completely irrelevant at this point in time. Do not anger others. I don't care if you're angry, want to troll or what have you. Your sentiments are moot when you're trying to anger people in the scene. Drama. That's all it is.

He said he was going to leave and that he was never going to help the scene again before i said anything to him.
Angering him at that point is irrelevant and from what i saw he wasn't even angry.
And,by the way, you should stop insulting others too since you like preaching to not anger people.
Oh and another thing, please stop putting the devs on a pedestal, because they are normal people too and if they do something wrong somebody has to tell them.
If they can't stand the criticism from even one person then they shouldn't have called themselves devs to begin with.

Granted they are normal people, shouldn't you treat them as such as well? You really seem to be glorifying yourself here.

Cmon, you say they are normal people too, but they are not even allowed to write in here if they are not going to share anything? Considered he just came by to be social, maybe drop a note in a conversation, which he could participate in (which he is very well capable of doing).
You freak out on him for no ****ing reason. And again, he has shared stuff before. Do you expect every single time, they come in here, it should be for the purpose of sharing information?

One last thing, what is the problem if he decides to not help the scene more, and leave? Is he not entitled to do so? What is your issue? And, lastly aren't people allowed to be here and take part in the chat and social activities here, if they aren't going to contribute?

He was angry, or he became - after your bull****, which I very well understand. If you could figure out how to setup an IRC client and join a server and chan, you would have seen it (granted, the issue is more that you haven't bothered/cared about taking part in the social there, than the fact that you are unable to, I hope)

. It sounds as if you considered yourself justified to be a dick then, and as if that was your trigger for saying what you said. I cannot really see any harassing or swearing elements by him saying that. Yes, he is negative towards the scene, but he did not harass us nor was he being offending? He declared, he didn't want to help us, which, from his standpoint would be very understandable. He isn't required to share anything, we can only hope that he would for us in return for some gratitude. But not alot of gratitude was even shared/given - sadly, when his metapwn was leaked.

@oPolo I said that devs are normal people in a general sense but Math should know full well what his name means to the scene and what are the consequences of him posting in a forum(hence my suggestion to change handle name).
I had absolutely no problem with him until he posted just to say that he was going to leave again without any apparent reason.
Of the things i said i'm prepared to take back the bit about him being a liar(after Gravox clarifications) but everything else i said stands and i don't care what you think of me.
As i said if he wasn't prepared to some criticism he shouldn't have posted anything at all.
And about the metldr exploit, he admitted it himself that he was never going to release it anyway so i don't see how people should show gratitude for that,but i will give him props for being a good sport and releasing the documentation for the exploit after the leak.

With this i'm finished with this thread and with you and your moral bull*hit trying to put me down and telling me how to behave in the presence of your favourite dev with your cleverly worded insults and your trying to be smart with guessing(wrongly) my personality and thought pattern while nitpicking at every part of my posts.
