i have done a 2503A (date code [OD] is in a small white/gray box) if that helps you

Q...I have E3 Flasher (LE/Nor only release) & E3 Card Reader Dongle. I can't find any info on whether anyone has done or tried this following method of downgrade and I was hoping you could verify whether its possible or not?
I have a RSOD NOR PS3 that was RSOD'd while on 3.65. I could not use the RSODfix that was introduced earlier this year because this PS3 was above 3.55.
Well, to cut a long story short, I tried many times to just flash upgrade it to see if it would remedy itself all the same (some people have had this luck) but to no avail. I'm now on 4.0 OFW RSOD still. Please....is it possible to use my E3 to downgrade and rid myself of this RSOD once & 4 all????????

Oh wow! I needed this a few months back, I have a ck0-001 board, and was having problems clipping the NAND clips, and actually broke off a couple of those capacitors you specify to file around:\ I then sent everything to VGC as he's who I got the Progskeet from and it was damaged in shipping and he said the downgrade was too much and that I didn't need to replace those capacitors and the console has been fine but still on 4.21 I've been trying to find someone to send it off to for a Downgrade, but have been unaucceful, I'd be will to ship the console along with all my Progskeet tools, clips, wiring, injects, everything and you can keep it, and I'll pay for the downgrade

What you think? I'm in AL USA

I even have a spare dongle I'll donate from beta testing for PS3UserCheat

I think we all got a lil collection of dongles, I even found myself wanting and buying an Original PSJailbreak for $120 :\ lol

Had an original 60Gb on CFW and sold it and I've hated my self and vested over $700 trying to replace it with no luck, got a 4.21 running fine and a YLOD 60Gb I've had Reballed twice and still no go Yes reballed not flowed:\

Do I'm really desperate at this point

Hey nice tutorial about E3 Flasher...But you haven't mentioned how to solder E3 Flasher...Is it necessary to solder E3 Flasher on PS3 SLIM for Fast dual boot?

i have a phat that needs the haet spreadder removing for re-pasting

well your telling me you can still update your firmware so you should be able to downgrade.
when you get back on 3.55 then you should be able to use the fix.

but do a search on the wiki and see if there is anything there then go to the bottom of any of my guide's "verify" steps and join the chat mentioned there. and post your question. see if any of the smart guy's and girls there know if this is possible (make sure your talking with an op )

you dont solder anything for the downgrade.

and i am doint the duel boot if i can ever get my head around it but the guides that are around all appear to miss some step or are based on the E3 guide that has it wrong in the first place.

making these guides so simple for everyone isnt as easy as it looks.
it has taken me 3 months to get this far as it is
