Okay, to start the situation with, I am totally fkced up by the simple steps.
First, I have downloaded the 1.6 fix which includes the link for PKG (actually, its not a direct link, it redirects to something "xml-ish" page, telling nothing to be used of. So, I used the Awesome Update Finder and downloaded the 110MB 1.6 update. Installed it, then replaced the eboot and the param.sfo from the n0DRM fix to the source (internal). I also copied the game directory to hdd/game as stated by the nfo (note that there are also lots of folders in there with game id's)

Literally, putting the game in there would not make it appear on the game list so I had to execute the eboot manually. There, it boots, then the "INIFILE" something error will come up but eventually, another error pops up telling that the trophy registration would not be completed. From that it would go back to the XMB and the app/PS3_GAME folder in the game XMB will be changed to "Skyrim Update". I have no fukcn idea what am I doing.

Any help more closely to urgency is needed. Thank you

I have the 1.06 update installed and I know there are lots of complaints about bugs in earlier versions of the game, but I have seen nothing to complain about in 2 hours of gameplay and the game is easily one of the most amazing games Ive ever played so I assume the 1.06 update fixed many of these issues. I had the same issue with game update directing me to an xml page.......cant remember what I did to fix it. I think I sourced the page and got the direct link or something like that, but after installing the update pkg no matter how it is obtained I followed the instructions and everything worked for me.

Well for that, I pity myself.
So here's what I did again:
I reverted to 1.00, game successfully went into the main menu. The problem is that the screen will stick in there, with the smoke effect still running. i guess i have to solve the 1.06 update rather than this. I am now downloading the pkg link from the nfo from https://a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/...S30778-ver.xml to http://b0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/t...6-V0100-PE.pkg, when its done, install the pkg, replace the files from the fix to hdd0/game/BLUS30778 folder. Please confirm if thats what you did

if you have "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - PS3 [USA] [+ TB Patch + 1.02 Update" by tijnonlijn. The param.sfo and eboot.bin was already TB patched. This could be one of the reason its not working.

What I did was download the original eboot.bin & param.sfo from cladestine release and overwrite it in my external drive. @ "/dev_usb000/GAMES/BLUS30778-[The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim]" - (Just copy overwrite the eboot/param to where ever the game folder is.)

I have uploaded the original param.sfo and eboot.bin for users here.

Follow by the next few steps to ensure a proper installation.
Please TAKE NOTE that "/dev_hdd0/game" and "/dev_hdd0/GAMES" is totally different.

1. Delete /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30778 - (This folder is created when you install the 1.06 update)

2. Download and install "http://b0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/tppkg/np/BLUS30778/BLUS30778_T6/86f4e91cb3f2af97/UP1003-BLUS30778_00-PATCH00000000106-A0106-V0100-PE.pkg" pkg file via XMB. - (This will recreate /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30778)


3. Replace the param.sfo and eboot.bin by N0DRM under /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30778.

4. Loaded with multiman +/- BD Mirror.

Make sure you have a spoofer installed.

Thanks. I can now boot it internally but I still cant play. First, there is the "ini" thing at the beginning and the game is just stuck on the skyrim logo when creating a new game

the 106 update is all done for you no need to install anything anywhere, just use origional eboot & param and then install one of these pkg's..... simple
