Hey, I found an ps3 with 0c data code and model Cech-2504B.
It had 3.40 when it was made, but it is used, so It might be updated, but I have no other options in getting a 3.55 or less ps3, should I take the chance? Or maybe wait months in getting a 3.55 ps3.
I have found a lots of 3.56 ps3's for some reasons, but no 3.55 or less.
I want to know if it's possible to downgrade for 3.56 to 3.55, I've heard that you can use a jfw, but haven't got a clear answer yet (Most likely it's unstable or impossible, but I just want to know.)

Off-topic: Why is it only a 3.41 and 3.55 jailbreak, why not f.ex 3.50? It's the same method getting the keys (Calculating the keys.)
I am just wondering, and thanks for helping me out guys, It was so much harder to find a 3.55 ps3 than I expected.

No disrespect but you have hundred post under your belt why dafuq you asking this sh*t. Anyways just get an E3 Flasher and utilize the tutorials here. Also make sure if you do purchase a PS3 its a downgradable one via E3 Flasher and as well the correct jailbreak that should be in the downloads section here; don't download any YouTube garbage.

I know, but I am not going to buy a e3 flasher because I just recieved a brand new ps3 for $200 320gb 3.55 ofw.

No need cause any calamity towards me even though I was the one being ignorant. Time for me to he sincere and help you out. Like was saying in my previous post make sure you have the correct jailbreak because you don't want to brick your system for something so minor. The jailbreak should consist of PS3 UPDATE.PUP file for 3.55 and the most commonly used cfw KMEAW. You can reference tutorials here on how to fully jailbreak your system without me giving you a detailed step process.

P.S. My opinion about that ps3 you're trying obtain is kinda risky because it mat be on a firmware you can't downgrade from via E3 flasher. Basically just ask the seller if they can confirm what firmware its on. Its better to be safe than sorry.

We have Pretty much every key needed for lower firmwares now, All you need to do is get MFWBuilder and select the folder with the keys and select the 3.50 Firmware and MFW save destination and there you go, Fresh MFW 3.50 Same goes for 3.55-1.xx
Its just that 3.55 is newer and 3.41 was the first Firmware to get hacked (For most people)

I know that it is toturials out there, I just found one, but it's from january 2011, so I don't know if it's the newest update on kmeaw.
I've heard that you need some lv2 thing and rogero manager.
Any recommendations on where to get this stuff?
I have heard that in the newest kmeaw update lv2 thing or rogero is not nessesary, but I don't know for sure, and I need a good toturial on how to get on kmeaw.
Thanks for the help though, I asked for the firmware and he said 3.55.
I bought it for $200 and I am ready to get on cfw.
The fabric firmware is 3.40, so if anything goes wrong, I can always downgrade it, but I need to buy an flasher as the flasher I got now is a clone.
I understand your statement, I have asked a lot lately, but when I get on cfw, I will not post a single thread again if I don't get any serious trouble.

If the console is 3.55, make sure it is 3.55 ofw, then download whatever cfw you want like kmeaw or rogero or whatever, and then install it like any other firmware. Folder PS3 with subfolder UPDATE with the ps3updat.pup inside that.

Yeah I know, but don't you need rogero manager or the lv2 package thing to make the kmeaw work correctly, I don't know.

The cfw is already made for you. Go to ps3devwiki and look under firmwares. There are already patched cfw for you to choose. Go with whichever you want. In my opinion kmeaw is outdated. It doesn't offer you anything that rogero v3.4 doesn't offer. Rogerov3.4 is my choice all the way, but you make your own decision.
