Why do I get this error message when trying to format a HDD in ps3gen?



I'm on Win7 64-bit and have already tried admin mode and XP compatibility mode.

Do I have to format the USB HDD on the PS3 with the BD format util on the DEX XMB?

I get this same error when trying to add a second game to my USB drive....Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm using 32GB USB stick....Is it because I'm "out of space"? ** EDIT ** All good now using bigger drive.....I would still like to know if its possible not to use 25GB if the game is not that big.

In fact 46.6Go are to assign for every games(sets) thus with 32Go was possible to you in meter that one

Even if ps3gen said 25Go the space in the hdd is of 46.6Go


I succeeded has to change the size to assign in the hard disk and I can metre more than 10 games(sets) but nobody not my answered on my post

one can also use HDDLLF if anything fails(new stick etc..)btw...really great tool to have anyway

select inserted usb memory stick/bdemu
select it - click continue
click the second option "LOW LEVEL FORMAT" box
and "select" perform quik wipe(just remove partitions and MBR)
click "Format this drive"
takes only a sec...
windows ask/popsup a "format this drive" before u can use it
click cancel
ready for use now

it takes longer to type this then perform the task

Hello all!

I'm on Dex 4.21
Multiman 4.05.07
Ps3gen images mounted

When i start multiman and refresh list o BdEmu games, none appears.

Don't know if i am missing any setting, or if any problem with the LAN (just plugged the ethernet cable to the router with pc on).

Could someone help me on this?

Hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster...

Just wanted to add I got NHL 13 working with this tutorial,

As it states, I installed the .pkg file under RogeroDEX 3.55 then upgraded to DEX 4.20 and it worked beautifully.

I don't know if there's some kind of compatibility thread I should post this in, if so I'd like to know.

Hey guys,

I am running DEX 4.21 and have Multiman DEX installed on it. I read in multiman that there is a way to swtich my game that's on my ps3 without going to my pc and opening PS3GEN. Also I read that I can have up to 10 games instead of 4 how do I do that ?
