Depends as its only an incremental update.
However, it could easily be held up whilst they make the change. |

Usually, they only update the pass phrase, when they increment the version number by a 0.1 unit or more(ie. 3.0, 3.1, 3.2), not when they increment the version by 0.01.
Nothing is set in stone, however. |

Oh, it's 4.25 now... Those just ain't stopping. Just installed DEX 4.21 a couple of days ago. I just hope Resident Evil 6 will be playable on DEX :P

darksiders 2 1.01 patch resetted the game requirement to 4.00 fw...iam currently playing it on my 4.11 dex firmware...so even if the re6 update releases after 4.25 ofw i highly doubt the official patch for the game would require 4.25 to work..so imo re6 should work on 4.21 dex or lower...But all wanted was sony to keep their hands tight till ac3's release..now my dreams are shattered ac3 might not work

I thought the same happened with 4.20 to 4.21

4.21 PSn worked till it became mandatory.

It sure is a shame i been able to get on PSN for 3 weeks now & i never even used it & its going to be changed now. Sorry guys for me not mentioning this i am not a person to leak stuff , when i am asked not to
I would have loved to help out ,i am a person who believes in trust so i could not be the one to leak this, i am glad someone did for you all ..
