PS3 Update 4.25 Brings A Gig of Cloud Storage

So you know, I'm one of those newbies to the PS3 hack scene that doesn't want to waste a chance at getting his PS3 hacked, so when 4.25 is released, should I stay on 4.21 or update to 4.25?

Note: I honestly don't give a crap about the online gaming on PlayStation 3, and the content I wanted to download from the PlayStation Store I got all of it.

You may want to stay on 4.21 at least untill e3 says something, They have from now untill the 31 of september to say or release something.

Oh, right, thanks. I was thinking of the E3 - Electronic Entertainment Expo.

I'll wait until 31st September to know what they'll say. Besides, I don't mind being on an outdated firmware.

Sony can't change hardware. There is no way they can block a hardware mod through a software update... You are writing directly to the nor/nand chip, really, what can Sony do?

Are you sure? If thats were true why do people test to confirm you can safely downgrade??

@OP If you dont care for online then its obvious you need to downgrade to 3.55 and jailbreak. Your not going to see a 4.25 CFW if thats what your asking.

@Cheesethief is correct. You might as well update to 4.25. 4.21 sure isn't going to get a CFW anytime soon.

It's 99.9% sure it will be downgradable by E3 flasher (progskeet/Teensy++ etc too) on consoles that allow downgrading to 3.55.
