Still can't understand how you can watch the main action on the TV while watching your Wii U pad touch screen to pick a weapon or set the C4.
It's not like you can feel the buttons so you can say "ok, this is the lower button, and this is the left button" just by touching them with your fingertips (the ones who'd played in the dark will know what I'm talking about). |

I'm impressed. Everywhere else is a bloody fanboy massacre... People moaning about the pads price (despite dropping the same on a stupid camera controller for 360)
You guys have been open minded and into this to the point that I feel rather proud. I do want one. And I'd love for it to be hacked. But my jtaged jasper 360 is gonna have to be sold. Not too bothered about that tbh. Everything I play on 360 is available on other consoles or pc. I think microsoft exclusives are kindof a joke. That and the rareware thing. I'll *always* be pissed about what they did to that company. |

Just got back from pre-purchasing the Deluxe bundle, can't wait
Nintendo is always good for co-op family games and now they have hardcore support as well. Hopefully it gets enough good third party support I won't have to buy 3 systems for the next generation...

The console looks interesting an Nintendo has always been on the innovative track. I thought the Wii would fail miserably, but it didn't.
Launch prices are always high and the price for this console at launch is considerably low. I can fully understand the cost for more of their hybrid gamepads due to the technology packed into them and from what I've seen over the last year or so regarding the the pads I've yet to see any examples of a second pad in play, but of course I might of missed that. The PS3 was an impressive machine specification wise, but cost double what this Nintendo console did at launch and it's hardware was prone to failure (like most other Sony products). Nintendo's products have always been "tough stuff" and they don't skimp when it comes to making sure little 10 year old Johnny doesn't ruin his Wiimote when throwing it at the wall because he can't finish a certain level. The only thing that draws me to Nintendo is that nostalgic feeling when you play some of their first party games such as Zelda and Mario. Nintendo's demographic includes mostly children so the majority and that is reflected with the majority of the games. While some are indeed "adult" orientated they are few and far between, but that is "okay" for me due to how "fun" some of them can be as they make games that bring groups of people together to play - and not in some virtual existence, but in your house, drinking your pop (in my case beer) and having a good time. That is the experience I love plus the memories Mario and Zelda bring back.
