Rogero 3.4 has a spoofer on it so it will state a higher firmware than what is really on it... check if you have install packages, if you do you're golden.

It was misleading because the file says 4.20 not 4.21

There are no install packages.

I did the dehashing then installed OFW 3.55 then my CFW. After CFW there are no install packages using this file from ps3devwiki

Rogero v3.6 just came out. It has 4.25 spoofer. You can read all the changelogs for their CFWs here.

How did you dehash? If you used Qa way, you had to install the package somehow?

Also as mentioned was the BD issues in 3.5 ever fixed? I do not want to go with out disc use if 3.6 didn't fix it.

I don't know, I haven't tested it yet.

So you do have the option to install packages then, right? Under the game column of the xmb. You should have app/home and install package files.

OK maybe im not understanding, there is the install package files under Game...is that what your talking about?

There just isn't any packages there yet....

Yeah. There will only be packages there, if you put them on a usb device and plug it in the PS3.
Like how you put the toggle.qa.pkg on a usb drive and installed it from there.

There we go.....finally it comes out. We were wondering if it had install .pkg option, because that means you are on cfw. And it is just spoofed to 4.21.

So now I can install other firmwares over this on if need be just by changing the file name to ps3updat.pup and installing from recovery like always?

Thanks for the help.......I'm sure I will have other questions if I can't find them by searching first....lol
