You will need to download the downgrade jig firmware for the PS3key and update it then when you are to the part where you need to put your console into service mode you just place the PS3key in the right-side USB port and press "POWER" then immediately press "EJECT" on your console......you will here 3 beeps then the LED in the PS3key will light up for a second then the console will turn off. You will then be in service mode. You will then need to put the first lvl2Diag file and the modified Rogero PUP in the root of another USB drive and wait until it loads the firmware (about 5-10 minutes) then it will shut down. Then you need to put just the second lvl2Diag file in the root this time and start the console and it will run for a few seconds then cut off.....it will then be finished and back out of service mode and downgraded.

If you want to hear it, go into FSM and install that 10MB factory reset PUP, then exit FSM. You can easily unbrick from this, BTW. Just go back into FSM and install correct firmware using the Lv2diag.self #1.

Not 100% sure about this, but go into FSM and use the Lv2diag.self #1 and probably something like Rogero 3.55 with Lv1 checks patched out.

If you need an explanation about any of this, PM me.

Do either of you have access to android device? I thought any device that can put a PS3 into jailbreak mode ala 3.41 days is all that is needed to fix the DEX to CEX 'brick'???

Why troll? The OP is saying that to him the syscon brick sounds like a police siren. Some European countries do have sirens that could possibly sound like that. We should be helpful not harmful.
