Yeah, just make sure you toggle qa flag and install 3.55 ofw before switching to a new cfw. You can run the toggle qa flag a couple times to make sure it does it, and you can try the bottom combo to verify it is qa flagged. All this is in playerkp420 guide.

If he already dehashed, there is no need to toggle qa flag.

After I downgrade and dehash a console, I toggle qa flag off and delete the app. Then give it back to the customer.

Once the console is dehashed you can install OFW without Qa flag. Unless you want to downgrade, then toggle Qa flag on.

I had already toggled QA Flag and did the combo button to pull up debug options.

So if I want to go to a different cfw I would need to install the 3.55 OFW then the new CFW?

It is recommended, when changing cfw. To first install OFW 3.55 from recovery menu, then install the CFW from the XMB.

I know. I was under the impression he had just downgraded and had not yet dehashed. Just wanted to prevent him from soft bricking. No harm done.

Ok I guess one question I cant really find Is, how do I get A disc of MW3 to play? Get an error of 800010017 if I launch from main screen or if I launch from MultiMan it takes me back to the main screen.....

You have to use 1.03 patch and you have to use bd mirror if you are using it on internal hard drive.

You can't use the original real disc AFAIK. It wants firmware 3.72. Rip the game to an internal or external hard drive and then apply the 1.03 patch. I'm sure you can find it. Once you rip it and apply the patch then you can play it. If you rip it to internal hard drive, then you will have to use bd mirror. Multiman has it built in, so just go to the game and hit square for game settings, and highlight bd mirror and then load the game. It will kick you back to XMb, then go to it and load it .Or if you use external hdd then just apply the patch and hit play, takes you to XMb then go to the app thing above install .pkg and wait for it to show you mw3 and hit load.
Also, I always go into comgenie and delete the updat.pup on the games so it doesn't update the console. Just a precaution.
