Although if you want my opinion, I would suggest ripping it anyway. Why use your disc drive which causes heat on the console and stress on the disc drive, when you could have it playing off the hard drive, which is not being strained or creating any heat inside the ps3?

Im working on it, I'm one to make sure most everything works before I settle. Plus I learn this way.

I will have a 1TB HDD full soon.

What needs to be redone when I go from Rogero 3.4 to 3.6

I was able to update my CFW but when I now try and dual boot meaning I power off and flip the switch from CFW to OFW the PS3 starts up then powers off after about 3 sec.

If its powering off on OFW, you will have to do the whole process again.

That has happened to me as well, when I went from Rogero v3.5 5o V3.6

One should be able to update CFW or OFW without having to redo it all.

I am just saying that this happened to me as well upgrading the CFW Rogero 3.5 to 3.6

So I really can't say why it happens either..

I just was told by zofmod on youtube, that you always have to start fresh to install new CFW when dual booting, but you can safely update OFW

He does a fast triple boot, using two different CFW

ps3 ofw 4.25 triple boot rogero 3.70 and 3.72 cfw e3 flasher - YouTube

I have redone my Fast dual boot and posted here

http://www.ps3hax.net/showpost.php?p...8&postcount=16

I haven't actually tried to install another CFW, but hopefully when I do it should work this time.
