Yes it will. But you cannot downgrade it. all progskeets will work on any console but some may not be able to downgrade. such as 3k and 4k

It's like a clip in that every connection is stuck onto a little PCB. You place this over the solder points and tack it in place before soldering all the other connections.

I think E3 had one in their early days, but I can't remember it's name or find a picture. They are really common though, Team Xecuter (360 scene) use them all the time to help with awkward points - LINK.

I reckon it's a smart move, theirs will involve a little bit of work compared to the clips, but if you're going to leave it inside your PS3 then you can be more confident that it will stay put and not come loose. Before, using Progskeet 1.1 you'd have to run each wire individually, mix 2 up and you'll waste possibly hours trying to find the problem or use a clip which might come loose.

If it reduces the cost without hampering it's function, then I'm all for it! I'm days away from finally ordering a Progskeet, I had been awaiting another hardware update since 1.1 came out (would be typical to happen just after I finally get one). I did like having all the solder points available on the flasher, but I assume there will be a PCB like the E3 Linker for that stuff.

Being able to hook up the NOR/NAND to the PS3 and remove the Progkseet would be ideal, since I'm intending on using Marcan42's technique to connect - LINK. Not sure how that will pan out though.
