just follow the downgrade guide the files there are for downgrading.
if you are just downgrading then you dont solder and you use the files in that guide

if your dual booting then you solder and still use the same files while downgrading

then the dual boot guide has extra files in that guide to use in that step of the guide

you can use any service tool for the fsm steps. i have a list in the main post
also you can use a psp as a service tool.

Great guide thanks, Ive gotten all the way successfully via E3 flasher on my slim to where Im trying to get ps3 in FSM, problem is Ive no video/hdmi signal coming out of the ps3 anymore, Im only getting on my hdmi tv, a blue screen, Ive double/tripled checked my wires and connections, everything is perfect from what I can tell....

any ideas anybody..thanks

try turning your tv and ps3 off (turn the wall plug off)
wait 5 min
then plug in and turn the tv on then the ps3 on

do you still get blue screen?

i have never come across this so thats the best i can do.

but do a search on this site and see if anyone else has had this.

well the blue screen is normal on my tv when its not receiving any video input....

so why the ps3 isnt outputting now, ive no idea ::cries !

gutted, as the downgrade went off without a hitch

if your in service mode and have a "slim" ps3 then sometimes you dont get a picture when your in service mode via hdmi (if you have hdmi set)

so go ahead and finish the fsm downgrade side and when you come back out of fsm you should have your picture back

E3 flasher, yes. Also works to downgrade 4.25.

@baileyscream your folder for the remarry 3.55 says it is not found. Could you possibly reupload it? And does it have to be on 3.55? I have a chechG01 on 3.50 mfw with bd check bypassed. I tried to do the 3.50 remarry from ps3devwiki, but no matter what drive I try, it always gives me the pink NG. Someone suggested trying the 2.30 way? I have no clue what I am doing. Thanks

the 3.55 re-marry is just the files from the wiki. but i will upload

also i'm sure u need a working lazer in the drive. and no disc.
are you still trying with drives that dont have working lazers?
or the one that you carnt get the disc out of?
