There is high chance of brick. Trust me. I suggest you have a USB dongle before you do it.

Why is more risky going back from dex to cex then from cex to dex?
If you go to cex from dex you just need to flash your original bios for what you can be sure that is working, but when you go to dex then you get risk because you need modify your bios. I just write tutorial that i test and its pass without any problem, if other people so smart and brave on this forum why nobody try go back to cex and write how they do that.

You must be on DEX CFW 3.55
1.Install multiman ver 04.04.03 (20120722)
2.Use your original NOR dump flash_stor_35500 and rename it to my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN
3.copy my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN to usb and plug in console
4.go to multiman and navigate in file manager: dev_usb000/my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN
5.Double click on it and you will have 3 questions, must confirm.
6.When process complete restart console
7.Install OFW 3.55 and after install CFW 3.55 on your choise.
Two big mistakes in this.
1/ You can't just reflash the EID0 part of the CEX NOR, if you flash CEX EID0 and leave DEX FW, you brick. You need to reflash an entire NOR dump that has CEX CoreOS.
2/ The CoreOS from your CEX dump must have lv1 hash checks patched.

There might be more to it, but these two things are definitely needed to not brick.

I flash complete nor, not just part. When i install eido i made backup of everything including complete nor and now i flash it again to go back on cex. Maybe this is why people get brick.

you cant flash other bios because its like fingerprint, every console have unique bios.
do you maybe have flash_stor_35500.bin?
