Seeing how we have PSN back I decided to purchase DLC for nba 2k12,
after i made the purchase I felt like Sony had suckered me because
I couldn't even download the dlc afterwards.

I only have one PS3, any way to retrieve and activate my DLC?

I can't get the ps3 proxy server method to work for the life of me.

I for the life of me cant find about the answer for this situation either, im trying to reactivate my ps3 to my account and to download so I can buy and download Disgaea 4 DLCs myself. If anyone got the answer to help out with downloading from the store, that would awesome and appreciated.

Look in the user account dev_hdd0/home/0000000?/exdata.. You bought the DLC for ,if you have that games DLC (rifs) files in the exdata folder for the DLC you bought + you have the act.dat ,then find the DLC & install ,it should work. I know another way to get the DLC if you cant find it, but would require me using your log in info,but i am not going that far.

If you find the DLC install if not working still go to the PS store & try to download & see if you can get the message activating system ,if you do get that far ,it should work after that .This is how to get the DLC working for many games ,if you install manual when using OFW & having the required files.

Im not quite sure how to answer that...but if you mean offline account as in my user connected to my KentaZX online psn account, then yes.

Um I dont think CFW consoles can activate any downloads from PSN.... can they? I tried getting the free Uplay pass for Driver earlier this year and it wouldnt let me download it. I guess purchases are only worth it if you have a hardware flasher lying around.

I had a similar problem on my OFW 4.21 after a Data Transfer from my CFW PS3. I tried restoring the filesystem and the database but nothing worked. Then i synched my throphies and deleted my PS3 user account (not the PSN account, mind you) and create it it again, with the same name and logged in with my PSN account and i was able to redownload my files from the PS3 store. But this was on OFW, you can try it on CFW and see if it works, just backup anything you dont want to lose (rifs, edats, etc etc, and synch your throphies so you dont lose anything - but try it at your own risk, if you lose something that you didnt backup it not my fault)

No I haven't actually, but I don't even have the dlc on my ps3,
everytime I try to download it I get an error so the link doesn't
pop up on the ps3 gui server proxy.

its an 800 error "80029780".

Thing about react psn, I have yet to find any rif, or raf files (haven't used reactpsn in a while so forget which one I need lol) for NBA 2k12 legends showcase, you think I have one already on my system's hdd since

I'm seriously out of tune with reactpsn, haven't messed with it since the
@ZOMBIEKILLAH helped me install my bo:dlc a while back.

Need to re-install reactpsn.

the file for me I'd appreciate it, bout to go look on my hdd for the rifs and exdata brb....

just checked my exdata folder and found only an act.dat file, very strange...

I don't get passed the activation part of the dlc download process could that be it? (why i don't have a rif file in there i mean)

I'm gonna take a look a the act.dat file.

I just noticed the two strange things.

1 on ****psn, there is an entire error string you get in ****psn, dunno if anyone else has noticed that when you try to download dlc.

2. checked my act.dat dunno if I'm seeing things but for some reason my user# isn't in the act.dat very strange...

I can log in & capture the DLC links with a app i have/use. Sorry it was l8 where i am yesterday & i had to go .If you want pm me the info + the region UK/US/ so i can get the right link ,after i capture them links in HeX which i should i will PM them to you. Then install & try to get PS store to activate ,i don't remember when the rifs show up before or after install but it may be after so if you need them links i need the exact DLC stuff so i can browse to it & start a download & capture link..

You can trust me i just did this for a friend/s & i got PSN "Black ops Ultimate ED" from it = all links. I just wake up so i be back in a little while ,email pass ,other info i mentioned above. So you know i will not see your download list ,or any account info. I would never snoop on someones account ,not my style & for what you said you would trust me = you are 100%, i would never do you or any one wrong ,i have plenty friends around to back me up on that.

Message me if you like me to get them & i will give it a try sometime today. You will have to download to PC copy to USB the install on PS3 account then go to ps store & try to download or sync trophies..

You can not download on CFW bud, but the purchase info gets written to purchase.dat +others in dev_hdd\dev_flash <= i forget the right one arm.There are many dat files & they are from category/purchase/more they even contain the account & email info, etc .. It is a possibility to get them to work ,if the rifs produce after installing & then go back to PSN ,signing in should be good enough but might have to try a little harder .
