PS3 was working fine but my Blu-Ray came off the alignment so I started to work on it but I had to keep turning off and on the systtem to make sure it was on the right track, the last switch and unplug seem to have lock out my Blu-Ray or something.

When I plug the system up, it come on just fine. Fan is quite, took controller input just fine but no games can be played and no blue light just power green. I do not have the black screen of death on boot but I do for loading HDD games, I have video, I have sound and controller working, I can three beep system to boot. I started the new update download and it shows error at 61% can't update error 8002f14e, can not play games nor watch PS3 youtube

8002f14e is a fault on drive side,, your connection from mother board to drive is not connected properly ,so reckeck it to see if it is fitting in the clip right ,,,and same on the drive side,,,you do not have to have the complete drive in your console,,i have updated heaps with just the bd board hooked up,,as long as you have the bd board insulated from any grounding,,the light on drive will not come on because there is no connections either on the flat ribbon or the power cables ..but i would be looking mainly at the flat ribbon

try cleaning the connectors between the flex, modbo, and the drive.
use alcohol and a soft brush, clean it gently to avoid another damage.
