320gb slim here and updated fine to 4.25, from what I've seen on the forums it's mainly older systems like the 60gb that have failed to boot, the problem that these people have is they will have to prove to the courts that it was in fact sony who messed up their ps3, this has happened in the past and sony never take liability for the damages, they should do and compensate for the loss.

No problems here, but to quote sony...
"CFW is dangerous, it could brick your PS3 and cause unwanted side affects" It would appear OFW isn't exactly much better
