I am also wondering if this works on dex, since the reply to the last guy that asks seems to be just another link to download it. I have been trying to get ps3usercheat to work on my dex ps3 but everytime I load it the screen goes black and it dumps back to xmb. I tried the package in the link that was on the last reply for if this works on dex but that does the same thing. I am about to try the enable rebug selector for dex posted on ps3iso but I am unsure if thats going to make this work any better. Alot of searching has lead me to posts about how something to do with multiman is unable to use condeunique on dex versions

CodeUnique 2.3 works only/best with CEX CFW. Example: Rogero, Rebug and Kmeaw.

Also, Rebug selector is only for Rebug. Not for DEX.

This guy originally posted here about the selector working for dex and how to do it and can get usercheat running on dex. I don't want to try it unless I can keep the bd-emulator since my disc drive is busted though.

so i have succeeded in taking pictures with codeunique/mM on a converted dex mfw.
it was quite some hassle, but it was worth it and works really fine if all steps taken exactly. in addition, you can use rebug selector and change the debug menus, either the normal dex debugmenu or the cex qa debugmenu, which allows backup function and clone internal hdd function. and even rebug update packgages work after the installations

NOTES:
this could cause rsod, so becareful and i am not responsible as everything works fine on my dex ps3
this is of course only for (converted) dex consoles running 3.55 MFW with peek and poke
i have already included the kmeaw lv2_kernel.self in the archive, so you just have to install lv2loader and run it to load the kernel

Instruction:
install all zips with latest multiMAN (doubleclick on zip in mmOS), and then install the official rebug selector. now you can run rebug selector to change retail or debug xmb/vsh and also use the 2 different debug menus. first one is the normal debug menu, 2nd is the qa menu

to take pictures with codeunique/mM you have to first switch to retail xmb with selector. this will remove of course the debug settings, which are hardcoded in debug vsh.self
to run codeunique and take (cheat) screenshots on a dex, you first have to switch to retail xmb with selector and then after reboot start lv2loader to load alternative kernel. this will also reboot ps3. after this you are good to go to run codeunique and take ingame screenshots on a dex, as long as you do not reboot.

maybe it is because of additional xml hack, dunno. if it does not work for you i will send you my category_photo.xml. and thanks for this idea, as i only want to perfect my dex mfw

...ahh, forgot to give credits to Team REBUG (and dex leaker)...

here the zip files to install. i have included latest rebug selectors in the default folder. you can find them in "dev_flash/rebug/packages/" after installation of zips.
and there is no spoofer on rebug mode, just plain 3.55 dex !!! ok, react patches applied, too
