Do you have any privacy patches enabled etc? the stock rebug 3.55.2 with the latest rebug update works without any issues with the latest official F*ck PSN release.

no privacy patches that I know of. Followed the basic tutorial to get CFW on 3.55 and working. Only been backing up my games, and had a 4.21 spoof installed that I disabled, and then installed the new 4.25 spoof. I then proceeded to follow tutorial for ****psn instructions.

It looks like the internet is working, because I can get to google from the browser. I also went to the PSN network page on my computer, and I can login to my account from there.

is there any chance of a firewall preventing it from working. F*ck PSN doesn't work well with mine......
I get that same error when the internet it's self is not working on my PC for whatever reason such as mediacom being useless. Last edited by Hells Guardian; 09-17-2012 at 04:03 PM. |

firewall is disabled. Is there something I missed? Install dev_blind.pkg, enable flash write, rename old CA27.cer, copy new CA27.cer, change ps3 network settings DNS server to point to computer, Run app on PC, restart PS3.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* New Finding now: I am connected via wireless, I setup my network setting as normal, I get internet via web browser, no PSN (obviously). I change the DNS setting from automatic to Manual and enter in my computer's ip address. I now lose internet connection via web browser, and still no PSN...not sure what is going on here ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Ok, I am an idiot. So on the github site for ****psn I right-clicked on the CA27.cer file and hit save as. Unfortunately it grabbed all kinds of extra stuff. I ended up opening the file, and clicking the raw button to actually download the file with just the proper contents. After replacing the other CA27.cer file that I had, this resolved the issue. Thx for your help guys! Just learned quite a bit buy screwing it up! |
