@Bigbones87
Glad to see you got it working.

BTW - dehashing is only needed if you have downgraded from 3.56 or higher.

oh yes you can install any f/w you want now

try any and dont forget the psn access activator on the main page
I will tell you what I did step by step. If you don't need all of the steps skip around. I just want to be thorough.
1. Installed 3.55 noBDnoBT pup
2. Put it in fsm, system shut itself off.
3. Put the 3.55 remarry files with 3.30 ofw pup on USB. Inserted and ran files.
4. Remarry process completed and the ps3 shut itself off.
5. Turned the ps3 bacon, and it was still in fsm. Ran blue ray disc( hunger games if it matters?)
6. After a few minutes of movie playback, I shut the ps3 off via XMb.
7. Put step 2 lvl2diag on USB and took ps3 out of fsm.
8. Happy ending with blue ray playback.

have you found that when you use them to re-marry un-married boards that it reboots instead of letting you play a bdvd film (phats)
its fine if the boards should be married in the first place though?
just wondering

I think I did have a couple that did that. But I just took out the flash drive and left it in FSM. Then played a bdvd film. Then exited FSM.

@playerkp420 so if I want to go to rogero I just go from the 3.55 noBDnoBT firmware to 3.55 ofw and then to rogero v3.4? No other steps necessary like dehash because I didn't downgrade? Thanks again. And rogero never needs to be dehashed if you aren't downgrading, even tho it has the syscon hashed for downgrade?

The syscon hash checks are changed in higher firmware. If your PS3 has not been on a higher firmware (or has been dehashed after downgrading), there is no reason to dehash them.

When you update to 3.60 or higher, there is a hash check that is added to syscon hardware. So when you downgrade, you need to use a firmware with this check removed (like Rogero). Then dehash with one of the 2 methods, to get rid of the check totally. So you can install any firmware without worry.

So when using Rogero on a console that has never been downgraded from a higher firmware, there is no reason to dehash. The check is still removed from the cfw, but you don't need it removed, but it is anyway.

Just like when you use Rogero or a cfw that has the blu-ray drive check removed, and you have a working blu-ray drive. The check is removed, but you didn't need it be.

I hope that makes sense. LOL.

ohh yes yes i have just realised ......... ohhh blond moment lol
ok
when you downgrade you "hash" the firmware that is allready on the NOR or NAND its this that you need to de hash.

the rogero fw just has the checks "turned off" in effect
ie if you have 3.55ofw on your ps3 then you cannot put 3.15ofw on as it checks to see what fw is installed. as its higher it wont install

rogero f/w has this check turned off.
thats it so it will install and there is no hashes changed that need de-hashing
the hashes are only changed with the patch you add when you downgrade.

i know this sounds complicated but short answer:-
put rogero over 3.55 = no de-hashing
use rogero when downgrading = you need to de-hash

edit
nvm @playerkp420 just explained it a damn site better than i did lol
