" So youd first need to find a suitable usermode exploit (dont ask us), that gives you code execution with the right privileges. " In other words, a bug in a game or something similar. |

OFF TOPIC: I love the thread pic from the matrix hacking scene.
ON TOPIC: I'm definitely excited knowing that work is still going on behind the scenes. I thought it would be a fair bit longer until any more exploits were uncovered... hopefully somebody will come up with a usermode exploit now. Damn... I need to get back in this scene.

How do we go about stress testing games/etc to find an exploit?
I thought ages back there was one for FIFA.. 08.. I think it was... And one for resistance or Motorstorm.. I can't remember

@DEFAULTDNB
Well the Wii had the utter cack game called Indiana Jones, the weirdest exploit I've ever come across, period.
You had to complete the first level than access a save/load option in a forest or something to allow a Wii Hack Exploit. Won't be surprised if someone finds how to hack these LV0 and LV2's by playing the worst PS3 game ever made and forcing you to play through it a bit lol

************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* ![]() PS3 has been out for 5 years. That's 5 years of time to find user mode exploits. Of which diddly squat has been found. Another waste of time. |

Only because nobody shared it with us it doesn't mean that an exploit hasn't already been found.
