Err, Egohot stole their work, not the other way around. I am pretty sure they did not use his old trick...

Also, they were attacked by Sony trying to find and sue them.

So, like PSP's LCFW?

It's enabled while the console is activate and after being shutdown the LCFW would needed to be re-run again every time?

I wouldn't mind having LCFW on PS3 if CFW isn't possible right now.

The way I see it is that it is a manner of overloading the LV2 syscall functions causing it to offset memory which should lead to an exploit?? and currently is not working as the overload causes LV2 to crash and destroy the payload... Am I correct??

PS : It also seems this requires a usermode exploit first. Anyone aware of any??

Won't be surprised if someone finds how to hack these LV0 and LV2's by playing the worst PS3 game ever made and forcing you to play through it a bit lol
wouldnt it be funny if someone found a user-mode exploit in darksouls, and you had to play through like half the game in order to get to it..

Upon logging 1,000,069 hrs on Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust (Metacritics worst scored PS3 game.. 17/100..) it reboots into mmCM 5.00.00 on CFW 5.00, and the private keys fall out the front of the console.

Well with this Kak can release his hen if we ever dump the lv2_kernal and decrypt it. With his hen we would be able to map lv2 peek and poke and then eventually pwn lv1 so that we can get root keys convert to dex then have a peek and poke for dex 3.56+
